woohoo one day before I left from gothenburg we were so lucky and found a place that already sells semlor now. a pitty that they're not available the whole year around in sweden.

lussekatter (saffron buns) and kanelbullar (cinnamon rolls)

public holidays should be used effectively. with baking for example. I don't bake lussekatter and kanelbullar too often because it's a lot of work (yeast dough is just so time consuming) but every year around christmas I make an effort and spend about 5 hours in the kitchen. because they're just soooo delicious.
