    This stone relief plaque of eight female figures chatting while spinning was part of the Brookfield Linen Company Warehouse, Donegall Street, Belfast. The warehouse was designed by WH Lynn in 1869. When the warehouse was removed to make way for North Street Arcade the plaque was salvaged and incorporated into the Donegall Street entrance to the Arcade. North Street Arcade as built by Cowser & Smyth in 1936.
    The Arcade was completely gutted by fire on 17 April 2004.
