Family at Totha Langa

    These Totha Langa shantytown people are probably unemployed and feel hopeless about their futures. When you live in Totha Langa, the chances of finding work in Colombo fall considerably. And of course there is no welfare state to fall back on! This family wanted to be photographed but their spirits were low. So young and yet already on the scrapheap.
