If it quacks like a duck it's probably on my front lawn right now. I seem to have attracted a pair and can easily feed them from my front door if I wanted to. They return year after year (or else some of their descendants do). They're cute and happy symbols of Spring.
Regardless of how incredibly common mallards are, great shots of them are not quite so common. No surprise that you managed to take one though G :o)
