      @Felicea, I used a chicken egg. The lighting just made it look too porous.

      @ J.Macik, I used a lamp in front and a LED light above the egg.

      Great concept, and fairly good execution. I would have included more in the frame, and used a black background. The blue on the bottom distracts from the egg.
