    National Historic Landmark.

    The Eames House was the creation of prolific designers Charles and Ray Eames and when completed in 1949, their lifelong home. The case study house #8 embodies many of the ideals of post war modernism and is regarded as one of America's most significant experiments in domestic architecture.
