Not that I can tell. I used AI-Servo AF a bunch while shooting a concert recently, and found the AF to be pretty spot on. But I wasn't shooting under the conditions that have been documented to cause the AF problems: hot temps, 300mm+ long lens, AI-Servo etc etc.
