      I read it very sadly... maybe because instead of "things" my mind thought "people", but if "things" could really include "people", i think that a scratch is a thing with that you can hide, in order to take care of your feelings.
      I cannot be happy anytime if I am alone...

      so. incredibly. true. I naturally degenerate to the point where it feels like my entire self-worth is based on my relationships with other people, so I'm really trying to find and pursue more things that make me happy in themselves, things that are just for me. thank you for writing this.
