I wanted this to capture absurdist qualities of the original story while hinting at the reality behind where each element came from. The clock could be light cast as part reflection through the window. The bubbles become hearts. Is the cat grinning or is that imagination? And instead of going down a rabbit hole, it has been replaced as a stairwell leading into the abyss.
