It's been a very long time since I updated my flickr! My illustration course has been taking up a hell of a lot of my time so I've not done any photography work in about a year... oops!
I started this about 3 weeks ago. I started off doing the hair, and realised it's the same colour-way as Stocking from Panty and Stocking, so decided I'd continue with that idea! Now i've finished Stocking, I think I'll start a Panty piece, but I'm out of watercolour board so a trip to the art store needs to be made soon!

Second image in my Metropolis project in which i am concentrating on the students that make up the city of Portsmouth, and their hopes and dreams after leaving university.

Since I last posted, i've started university! I'm at Portsmouth doing Illustration, but for our recent project titled 'Metropolis' we can work in whatever medium we please. We have to base this project around any aspect of Portsmouth. Lots of people are looking at the city and its history or buildings etc, but I'm more of a people person, so my focus will be the people that make up Portsmouth, primarily students.
So this is my flat mate (soon to be house mate) Matt, one of my closest friends down here, he's doing graphic design and he's awesome at it :) I'm thinking of either doing a series of photos of his experiences here, like nights out, working on uni projects and his job, seeing his girlfriend etc, or just doing one or two photos of a few students and ask them what their goals are after they leave portsmouth university. either way i'll be doing illustrations to go with them. I have 3 weeks to do this along with a body of work and research, so hopefully i can get it all done :)

Neo is the UK's top anime, manga and asian culture mag, all things I love more than anything, so I'm incredibly happy to be published in this magazine :)

havnt had any work up in ages sorry guys!
did some snaps with the lovely Adam today for his solo stuff, we went for a sort of grungy look and had fun finger painting on his bedroom walls. always a good thing!
