Nurse Roberta
My cousin, Roberta, was a very pretty nurse back in about 1949. After graduation, she joined the staff at the hospital in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, a famous ski resort. She had always said that she wanted to marry a rancher and have a bunch of kids. It didn't take long for a local rancher to find her and marry her. They have six children and still own the cattle ranch.

I have known Roberta all my life. When I was born, we lived on a little place just behind their property. She and her sister, Marjorie, were my first friends. They have been among my favorite friends ever since.

She is beautiful!! My aunt graduated from Nursing school the year I was born (1942). She was an RN. In the days when nurses looked like nurses!!!! I remember she would sneak us into the hospital to see my Mom when she had an operation. Those were the days when kids were strictly forbidden to go visit patients in the hospital.
It's great that you have been friends over all these years!
