These rusty looking globules are seepage of iron from the rock over many years, feel like jelly !

The cross cut from Victory Shaft to the Adit, the main pipe in the picture brought fresh water up from the Pump Station to use in the Mill

Water droplets
The tunnel walls are coloured by the minerals seeping from the rock, in places water droplets have formed and sparkle in the light of the lamps.

All along the tunnel there are examples dating back to the 17th Centuary of where other men have exploited the minerals
