I think this is a great picture! It conveys the idea that a book is more than just flat printed letters. The book in your picture is coming to life.

To make it even better in my mind, I would have liked if the tree did not cast a shadow over the word "forest", because it would make the essence of the picture "clearer". Also the shadows could have used a little distance based blur to make them blend into the depth of field better.

All in all I have to agree with previous commenters: Really great picture!

That is one cool composition. Very creative and interesting idea. First thing that came to my mind were "how the letters change into the lively pictures". It somehow is even connected to the line that you emphasized by blurring (does such a word even exist?) other parts of the book.

What can I say about the technical side of the shot... You did your work with the light, which means that the paper is as white as a snow (I just recently learned how to do this).
