Willets Point Boulevard

Willets Point Boulevard by gaspi *your guide.
Probably the most pitted, potholed street named a 'Boulevard' in the whole of the City of New York. A soft ice cream truck (there for repairs or product sales?) negotiates its surface whose triangular neighborhood is home to automotive salvage and repair businesses of all types.

Marvellous. I find the signage behind a bit distracting, but my guess is it was a bit of a snapshot. I love the reflections in the pool. Congrats.

Thanks, Andrew. The purpose of the photo was documentary. It's also an ironic snap with the incongruently situated soft ice cream truck.

Has Bloomberg seen this, or is he still too busy worrying about people smoking at bars? ;)

yes, all this neighborhood needs is an ice-cream truck, and kids playing around... powerful shot.

Actually those are meandering roadlets around rain-filled miniponds; however, the freely running "guard" dogs at the other end of Willets probably weren't laughing when they saw my cam...

How many children chasing the ice cream truck were lost in the pot holes?

And I thought Montreal roads were bad.

That is amazing. I had no idea places like that existed in New York. Of course, if I was to imagine something like that, New York would be the place I'd put it...
