Wessenden reservoir (one of the four in the Wessenden Valley - Butterly, Blakeley Wessenden and Wessenden Head as you climb up the path out of Marsden) and Wessenden Lodge early one morning with mist rolling in the valley and a thick frost on the ground.

'Twas a lovely morning for a stroll!

As I climbed down the slope to get the angle I wanted on this photo, I suddenly realised it was steeper than I thought - steeper than it looks in this photo - I could have done with climbing gear to get back up!

Sheep on the slopes of the Wessenden Valley looking towards Marsden. Loved the subtle colours when I was out taking this photo - everything seemed pastel. Very cold and very frosty too!

Trees popping up out of the low level fog on Sunday morning. An outstanding view! Taken looking towards where you'd normally see Digley Reservoir.

At last, it's getting to the time of year that I can take photos in the light on my way to work! I've posted two versions of this shot - I like the movement in the portrait version but I think I prefer ther comp of the landscape one so I'll let you decide :)
