I think I'm going to add stops to hold the drawer front flush like this. I had thought originally that it looked nice having it recessed, but that recess edge at the bottom is just going to be full of dust and sawdust all the time if I do that. There's a little bit of a bow to the wood, so the middle will be flush, but the left and right edges will stick proud of the sides of the face frame by maybe 1/32". I think once I get the stops secured, I'll flip this up on its back, and aggressively sand it flush with the edges. It should look pretty solid.
