Coast to Coast Walk, 2008 (UK)
|
The Coast to Coast Walk is a 320km (200mile) unofficial and
mostly unsignposted long distance
footpath, devised by Alfred Wainwright, that runs from St. Bees on the Irish Sea across the width of
Northern England to the North Sea at Robin Hood's Bay.
This spectacular two-week walk crosses
three National Parks — the Lake District, the Yorkshire Dales and the North Yorkshire Moors.
I did the walk with my wife (Julie) during the first two weeks of June
2008. It took us exactly 13 days.
