Very cool ^-^ I like the 3D-ness.
I reminds me of my "Red Flower Trapez", but I guess tthe basic technique is a little bit different, isn't it?

Yurieko (is that a japanese name?) - they are almost the same. Your model has a double layer in the flattened areas - How did you get them? I am trying to thing what will be the effect of 3Ding your model - a tube inside a tube.. intresting!
Daniel - thanks! I do appreciate your feedback!!

Yureiko is a japanese name, sadly it's not my name but the name of one of my characters from a Pen&Paper-RPG called L5R ^-^

That's why I thought that our Basic technique differs. I started with a spread Hex, transferring all possible edges in triangle twists and than sqash some parts.... hard to explain. I'll upload the CP soon, it's nearly finished... I'm just working on a tess with this Flower and I 3D it ^-^ But sadly there is no tube in tube...

I see, so there is a diffrence. My way is quite simple, but I am still far from being good enough with Visio to quickley draw a CP. More than that, my camera refuses to take any picture (I have to borrow one from my neighbours...) so I can not just yet show you my way..

And about names - you will always be Yurieko to me!!!

It's a pity that your camera refuses...
I also have Problems with my camera, but I've a camera at (?) my cellphone. It's not so good, but I can take pictures.
I guess I understand your way, when I'm at home I try to show how to make mine out of yours. ^-^

About the name, I hope it will be Yureiko and not Yurieko ;-)

Hmmm..
I believe there is a simple procedure to turn this into that, but this is above me at this stage. I dont work with CPs, I just play with the paper and things happen.
I can read it - I do see the details and the thing within the tube, but how to get there?!
Anyway- thanks!!!

I added some instruction and pictures. There is a way shown from this to that.

I also don't work with CP's, that's why I always try to add some explanations ^-^
