wonderful lighting and colour tones. love the surreal edge, it seems to capture a moment between dream and reality with the statues eyes closed and the light breaking through the gloom.
can i ask how you've achieved the wonderful golden glow in this and other of your pictures?

the golden color in this one is mostly made by editing in gimp; I added a lot of layers where I played with some filters and effects; used a fake lomo and a orton effect (both are script-fu extensions); in addition i selected only the sculpture and sharpend it; the golden color comes from the merging options for the layers and, of course, the original color was not far away from golden;

The other golden pictures I've made are processed different; the got their color by minipulations made with adobe lightroom; there its relative easy to change the color of an image; especially when there are not so much colors in (as in evening shots)
