reflecting...

...on my Kerala vacation.

This is one of my favorite shots of the trip, but somehow never got posted in chronological order. This is at Birds Lagoon Village Resort near the Thattekkad Bird Sanctuary. The open air dining room was here overlooking this lagoon and I took this just after breakfast, the morning we were leaving.

The hill reflection in the shimmering water give it a magical feel and the leaves in the foreground give this picture that first-person-view that is your trademark.

anoop, I didn't even try and take any shots of the birds, not with my little camera...but my ma-in-law took some with her powerful Cannon lens.

Ha, ha sharad, yes it was quite tempting to stay right there and give up all else! That's a really cool way to put it...."first-person view"....I like that! Thanks :-)
