Definitely a good day too!

Definitely a good day too! by ganobristol.
Reading Peter Mayle's A Good Year and drinking tea one evening. I usually have tea only in the morning, so an evening cup means it is a more relaxed day.

Thanks to Archana, who tipped me on this book and movie!

Have to say that for such a lovely book, the cover is kind of boring.

Lovely tones here too - goes well with Arch's post today - a similar composition and completes a good breakfast ... for some :)

Wonderful warm colors! A lovely shot of a nice moment in a good day.

I agree with you, Shalini. The cover of this book really is sort of bland and uninteresting.

I've always intended to read A Year In Provence, I don't know why I've never gotten around to it. Two more entries to my To Read list! LOL!

Ashwin: Thanks....evening light in my home is nice, but it's shifting now with the change of seasons. Yes, I thought it went well with Archana's post this morning too.

Colors: lol, you are so quick to read the sub-text! Very impressive :-)
I liked the warm, rusty feel too...the book cover is so bland that I had to add some color.

Gunjan: thanks so much!

Sandy: Yes, that's really it, you said it perfectly..."a nice moment in a good day"....and I love making these small moments count now.

The two are quite different, as this is a novel but has lots of info on the area, and A Year in Provence really is all about the author's stay there. I did enjoy that book, but I enjoyed Frances Mayes Under the Tuscan Sun a lot more...maybe just because I read that first ;-)

kamerakrazy: welcome back....everyone should spend a little time like this I think....we don't place enough value on life's little pleasures these days.

vonsachsen: Lol, thanks so much! The light was great that day...I have another one taken before this of what I was eating and that came out really well too...will post that later.

shuma: thanks! Once you do it a couple of times, it'll become easy..till then write the code on a word file and just plug in the page you want to link to and the link words. :-)

Patryaaa: thanks!

ezee: thanks....looking forward to seeing your shots of Goa...hope your internet woes get sorted out soon.

Kim: You're up in the middle of the night! Thanks so much....on the rare days that I get to take time out for tea, I really do enjoy it. It is nice to just enjoy the quiet time.
