Seeing a dandilion, I remember my mum on her birthday tomorrow. She would have been 80 years old on June 12th had she lived.
Dandilions are the flowers that as children we pick for our mothers. Because they can be held tightly in little hands, they are yellow and they are pretty. When they become "nature's sparklers" we love to blow them away...making wishes on them.
I see my granddaughter now picking the pretty yellow flowers for "mummy" and, I watch her pick a sparkler and blow on it...the circle of life is seen in something as simple as a dandilion and how it is picked with so so much love for the one person who we rely on no matter what...our mum. So, here's to you mum ... I picked these for you with so much love on your birthday.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you all know that I appreciate your comments, awards and invites "-)
