tiles / greebs
Stripes removed to match three-colour rule.
ORLY
put them back. I like stripes. Besides, of you look at it like Molly, it's not really part of the overall color scheme. Or if you look at it like me, they're danger stripes, though I don't know what for.
Danger?
Where's the logo?
Haha. A genuine mistake. I didn't notice it in the instructions so left it out accidentally.

I like it, the studlessness (well... Almost). And the design is nice. My only complaint is that you disregarded the old space-model by using black in more areas than the old LEGO model, and also avoided the three color rule.

I'm sorry Tim, but you've failed at building space.

The exposed studs bother me. Also no self-respecting spacer would use black over dark gray.

Ironic. Not as cool as Neo-Classic Space, and not as old-fasined fun as Classic Space.

So, it's not supposed to be a masterpiece?
It's just supposed to poke fun at the CSF critiquing process?

Nonetheless, it is a very nice looking model.

Yeah yeah, "amidoinitrite" etc. Bagging on Aaron is such an old meme, even the CSFers got bored with it. How about we see an honest interpretation of the theme from you? We could even make it a contest.

OMG. CONTEST!!!!! we all know how CSFers love a contest.!
This actually made me stop and think about the way thing are critqued at CSF. But then I got over that little bout of blasphemy. ;-)

While I realise irony isn't your strong suit, Jonesy I'm not entirely sure how you got that it was a stab at Aaron. I'm afraid the hour and a half I spent on this is probably it for classic space building. I'm unlikely to be that bored again.

1. Aaron does this.
2. Other guy does this, cites Aaron.
3. You post the above.

OK, I'm willing to accept it was coincidence and you don't actually read the forum. But then why make the joke?

OK I agree that shows a link if you miss the point. The choice of model is relatively unimportant. It's just a shell to fit spacewerks on. I could have chosen any popular model but this was the smallest one I could think of off hand to fit the bill.
