seven nation army

gadzooks! how'd that stay upright?
seven nation army by Gail at Large.
I discovered this place while walking last night and went back this morning to take some photos. The light wasn't that great, so I'll return when the light's better and try again.

Actually, it doesn't require hiking, it's directly in front of a bunch of condos! You can't see it from Lakeshore Boulevard, so I would imagine the only people who know about it are people who live nearby. I've only walked along the lakeshore as far as the Humber Arch Bridge before turning around, and this is only about five minutes past it.

Humber Bay Arch Bridge

If it was a secret before, it sure won't be now!

You see these a lot around Stanley Park in Vancouver:

there were so many of these in alaska. i think they're so cool. my siblings an i settled for making a few cairns, though, since we weren't that great at this balancing trick. damn, i wish i'd been more into photography when i was there...(getting all nostalgic in your comments. sorry...)
