GEB Recursive

I was going to say something was missing here (the binding's fold) but hey, no, it's part of the recursion which goes on and on and on... Wow!

Part of my Recursion set.

A recent photo by Seb Przd remembered me of the book Gödel, Escher, Bach: an Eternal Golden Braid, and I thought it would be fun to use the page that displays Escher's Print Gallery to make a similar effect. Original picture here.

For this spiral I modified my algorithm so I only have to remove the part of the picture I want to see replaced (the blue area above), instead of having to cut the picture using a smilar, larger shape (a tedious process).

Why does your spiral look triangular? I would have expected a more rectangular/square look. Something new in your algorithm?

It was funnier this way, but nothing new: I just set it up to spin 270° per loop instead of 360° (i.e. p1=0.75). I think you did the same for your avatar (the copies of your face are laid in a triangle, but the edge of the picture does not appear affected since it's circular).
