Times Square 2010

Times Square had changed quite a bit in two years since my last visit to NY, it's far more pedestrianised now.

Having processed this image, I really wish I'd taken a more elevated position. This is a dynamic range increase (DRI) of four exposures (-3, -1, +1, +3). I don't think the -3 EV exposure brings much to this photo.

HDR with Photomatix just wasn't working on this, so I stacked them in Photoshop and selectively merged them. I think next time I'm in NY I might try a longer lens and sit back on the elevated platform of seats they've installed.

No this is multiple exposures but I manually blended them in photoshop by stacking them.
