Thanks! But you know, there were many times when the sharks looked like they really were coming to get us, but they always turned away too soon, without getting quite close enough. They're not afraid, but they do seem to be wary.

I'm afraid he merely turned and made another lazy loop around the boat. They mostly just circled around, only occasionally going for the bait. The only times they got close to us was when they were following the bait as it was being hauled in, and accidentally overshot and came up to the cages.

This photo shows how bi-nocularly these guys can see. Whales can only see down with binocular vision. Depth of field must be really important in a sharks "line of work"
