I have also heard chants for world peace and chants from hungry people for food. I can scream death to idiots all day and still not be labeled and cursed/condemned to death for it. Your missing the point. In all likelyhood there is a strong chance he is a terrorist or knows terrorists. the plain and simple fact is that you dont know, he is burning a flag, he is sending a message of hate and you are responding with hate. its a vicious unending circle that will not change until WE change.

A lot of the cultural-relativist types posting here want us all to think that a flag is just a piece of cloth, and that flag burning is a form of protected speech because it is merely an act of individual political expression. Nonsense. It's direct incitement to violence. It's an act that's meant to provoke. Burning a flag says "Let's commit acts of violence against this country's citizens". It's like having an angry Hell's Angel walk up to you in a biker bar and say to his friends "Let's kill this guy". Sorry, that's not protected speech. That's incitement to murder. This"terrorist" may be too cowardly to be performing direct acts of terrorism himself, but he's certainly doing his part to incite these sorts of acts.

You know, I was just listening to a program today. Many correspondents for our major news organizations were in place in Palestinian territories on Sept. 11, 2001. The jubilation and street celebrations among the Palestinians was just about universal. Most Palestinians think it is great to murder Americans, including on our own soil. We know right now they're pressing for an independent state. Why? Because it would be used as a platform to annihilate Israelis. We've got a flippin' President who HATES Israel and tries to knife them in the back every chance he gets. Yet, wealthy American Jews are falling all over themselves to kiss his backside. Sounds a lot like Germany in the '30s. I have told my children, "Don't you EVER raise a hand against Israel." (I think God said that, too.) P.M. Netanyahu, an attack on Israel is an attack on the United States! I AM of the House of Israel!

I hear what ur sayin as far as disagreeing with our policies and burning the flag doesn't necessarily make you a terrorist. And I totally agree that there is justification for people of other nations being upset/frustrated and angry with how we act globally as a nation. But this idiot deserves what he got. His actions are unnecessary, irresponsible, and unsafe. There's always one. This is like when you have a riot to protest something and ppl smash windows and even steal stuff.
