A cropped image displaying Daipeem's eye. Granted, a whole new macro photo would have been best, but I didn't have time for that. Had I known this photo would have been featured on numerous websites, and win an image contest, I would have taken the time to do a real high-res macro. Daipeem is a European green toad, Bufo viridis. Here's his whole body: www.flickr.com/photos/furryscalyman/3633927491

Fantastic love macro's of eyes. This was probably easier then getting him to hold still well you moved up on him with a camera.

Oh yeah, he moved quite a bit during this shoot, so I wasn't about to do that again. Plus I need a new white surface for my "studio"...although in retrospect, the background wouldn't matter much if all you can see is his eye.

Thanks again! Ugh, had I known it would be used that many times, and at that size, I definitely would have taken a macro photo instead of using a cropped image.

Thanks for the heads up! That's pretty cool. Ugh, it's just a shame it's not a very high quality photo. I cropped this from another photo I took instead of taking a new close-up of just the eye.
