Custom Bookplate -- Finished

I coded a custom bookplate in raw PostScript. The initial idea was to render "ex-libris" as gear wheels using the charpath/flattenpath idea, which I explored first as a diversion in "happy".
It took quite a bit of work, I needed to give the gears just two spokes to make the text legible, play around with drawing order, shades of gray etc, but I really like the way it turned out. You can see a closeup of the gear effect here.
I did the "mark wilson" as a mirror image ambigram I designed way back in high school.
The border is a 1D Cellular Automaton, evolving the binary representation of "ex-libris mark wilson fecit 2008".
The small text in the middle (added in case the rest isn't legible!) is done in my hand-writing font. The whole thing is a little over 1000 lines of PS code.

That is marvellous -- I'm particularly fond of the 1DCA border.
