I got tired of the darkness of Swedish winters. Today finally sun appeared after long time, but I got disappointed when the sun disappeared and set when it came to "my" angle of photoshooting, too dark to shot anything below 800 iso or somtheing like that.
I know I can photograph artificial light since I have light boxes in ceiling to make me able to look at anything when crafting. But I always hated how it just makes the doll's hair good but not their faces, still dark. I started to think of studio lights? Light box? *thinking thinking* then I started to think of reflecting light. But how? Paper would not be enough. Mirror will just make it almost as ugly as direct light with big shadows. That matte reflecting surface.. *think think* materials.. what to use... Then hey! aluminium foil! it has 2 sides! One is matte! I glued it onto 2 pieces of cardboard. Seem to be a great solution and great addition to my little homemade doll studio! Now I do not need daylight anymore! I think! haha!
EDIT: Not roof! ceiling! it is same word in Swedish, but very very funny if you use wrongly in English. :)
