Leaf surfer

Leaf surfer by ScurvyMouse.
Finally got it together to take a trip out to the SBG today. Was going to test out a close up attachment and a teleconverter but had a few problems. So, back to the trusty 105mm. I'll do my testing at home next time. Far less stressful. Anyway, here's a nice little jumping spider.

I love the curve of the leaf, and the splashes of red in the composition. And that spider has such an anxious look on its face!

Breno thanks for the tip. That's the first time I've been interesting to my knowledge.

What marvellous colour and contrast.

It looks like a fighting spider. In the old days, boys would keep spiders like this in a matchbox to fight with the spiders of their friends.
