the sand coming off their feet is great

one of my personal favourites of the trip

these kids were absolutely awesome - they jumped ca. 100 times just for me! i took hundreds of pictures - showed the pics to them afterwards. they liked them - later we met the kids again in the village and everyone around knew us and smiled and were just kind to us. actually it was pretty easy to know everyone in cumuru cause it's such a dreamy lonely place in that time of the year - if you meet tourists there the most of them are brazilians... great place to be!

wonderful moment you captured here. the rock on the left helped alot in building up the tension, but the way the front kid's neck arched back is death-defying enough for me to say, 'exceptional'. small gripe - the little bits of branches on the upper right.

@thunderchild - haha! you're right. it is a tree strump isn't it. For a minute I thought it was a distant rock structure. The 'branches' that i was referring are the mere twigs at the right, top-most corner. i just had to nitpick. i still love this picture to bits.
