Ben Cairns, Scotland's best rugby player? discuss![]() I would have loved to see Ben get a cap for Scotland this year, especially in the match against Italy, however, his style of sharp incisive running and creating moments of magic out of nothing, seem to be undesired at national level.
I may be biased, as I saw him play for Currie, my club and rip the opposition apart. Hopefully next year? CommentsLe Fromagier Extraordinaire

On a *not* completely unrelated note, yesterday I read this on the Scotsman:
«The Scotland coach said in an interview yesterday that White has to undergo an operation to repair knee damage he has been playing with recently, while Ross Rennie, the Edinburgh flanker, and Leicester lock Jim Hamilton will also stay behind this summer to have clean-up operations. In stating that as many as 16 internationalists could be missing, Hadden insisted that he does not expect to have available his France-based players, Nathan Hines, Chris Cusiter and Scott Murray, that the Gloucester quartet of Chris Paterson, Rory Lawson, Alasdair Strokosch and Alasdair Dickinson may not travel with the squad if they are involved in the Guinness Premiership final, and that doubts remain over whether Simon Danielli, Nikki Walker, Rory Lamont, Allan Jacobsen, Craig Smith and Alastair Kellock will be fully recovered from injury and fit to play in the two-Test series on 7 and 14 June.»
So, if all these nice peeps are missing, I'm wondering: who’s going to tour Argentina (not on holiday, I mean)?
