Number 7 is an older cottage with a dutch door. The weather is such that the top half of the doors are often left open. This is a detail shot taken at Happy Landing Inn - a Bed and Breakfast in Carmel. Quaint and dog friendly.

Dutch doors are so charming... The hotel we stayed in on our last visit there had them and I fell in love with the whole concept- open air, the scent of flowers wafting, and communing with the neighbors... Just another form of bliss via architecture! ;)
