plus: Your focus is set right on the center - just where it should be in this shot. You can see everything that you want to see because of the focus.
minus: Perhaps it was a little overexposed in some places? Some of the areas where the light hits the petals are blown out, which makes me think it seems a little overexposed.

minus: I just fave'd it - I don't know what you could do to make it better. Maybe it's a touch dark? But it seems perfect for what it is.

Since I'm sort of new to this, why was HDR necessary here? Was it too dark in the cavities deep in the petals otherwise? Just looking at what I see here, I'm not sure I'm seeing more than the 5 stops of range for a regular shot. It very may well be I don't know how to see that. Which is why I'm asking :)
