These guys were on a weekend retreat, camped out on the lawn of some temple in Phitsanulok, sleeping in little pup tents. Most Thai teenagers do a two-week stint as a novice monk to make Mom happy and possibly improve their karma.

Did I see this, or a variation, in the National Geo? The one I saw, I recall thinking, that it was the older men who looked like children and the children that looked so very serious and put upon. I love your images. These children look so much like my nephews when they were very young - . I love the face of the man - upper left. These people seem so comfortable with the camera.
