Budding "agapanthus flower" holding onto the raindrop...

We've been experiencing some serious heat and humidity in Cape Town the last few days and today the gentle rain showers were a real treat & relief to say the least. Unfortunately further north in the country the summer rains are causing havoc. Can this be the calmness in the extremeties?

An abundance of homegrown, little yellow "lightbulb" type tomatoes at the moment...☺

One of those very rare occasions: balmy, windless near Muizenberg beach, late summer sunsets. In the background lit up Simonstown and the lighthouse at Cape Point, not normally clearly visible from this point. Soft, gentle waves lapping the rocks, press the remote control, breathe and take it all in, perfect...☺.

Dried up Barbrton daisy landed on the atlas overnight scattering the seedlings over the longitudes & latitudes. Today we are the scattterlings across the globe that are starting the new year over various timezones.....Happy New Year to everyone....
