manicure with wine

Wedding rings: wee gold band that Wade put on my finger at our actual wedding, diamond band that we bought for our fifth anniversary in an antiques store at Pike Place Market in Seattle, my great grandmother Myrtle's wedding band.

Lip gloss marks. You didn't think this was my FIRST glass of wine, did you?

For Chris. Who wanted to see the manicure, not the wine.

Although I wish she were here for the wine.

Oh no, not my first glass--you can actually SEE the lip gloss imprints on the rim, in fact. Very classy.

And my nails will look that nice for about the next twenty minutes, and then I am GUARANTEED to chip one. Or three.
