Forest Wilderness

SCORE!!!! I finally got my second wildlife shot in my photostream! Here was my first one: www.flickr.com/photos/fresnatic/6215477622/ I am usually walking the trails with my wide angle lens shooting grand landscapes. As I said in my last post, most of the morning was foggy and lent itself to more intimate compositions of wildflowers, meadows and the occasional mountain residents.
I could not believe I found this doe just relaxing just beyond the wildflowers. Then I saw the buck just above keeping a watchful eye over his doe. I could not believe my luck and snapped off several photos. They even cooperated by not moving, which was a blessing for me!
This is a single RAW image I processed in Camera Raw and then cropped in Photoshop. I also did some selective "Dodging and Burning" too. I then did some slight noise removal and sharpening in Lightroom. I did process an HDR shot as well, but I really liked the results better here. Hope you like this little magical scene.
Thank you for your views, comments and faves. I appreciate them. Have a great weekend.
