Sorry it has been a while since my last post! I have been in a processing rut and have not been out in a while to take any pictures. Fall color is starting to finally make it's presence known here in the Pacific Northwest. The mountains are finally turning color to, so a quick road trip is certainly in order in the next few days!
This is a shot of the upper portion of Twin Falls located in Olallie State Park in North Bend Washington that I had in my archives! Here is a shot of the lower falls: www.flickr.com/photos/fresnatic/5593797202/
The day was crystal clear, so not a real good day to photograph a waterfall! Fortunately, most of the waterfall was in shadow. This is three exposures (-2,0,+2) merged and tonemapped in Photomatix. I then straightened the crop in Photoshop as well as did some burning of the shadows and some highlights. I also ran through Topaz Adjust to regain some details. I pulled back the saturation in Lightroom as well as did some noise removal and added a vignette.
Thank you for your views, comments and faves. I appreciate them. I look forward to some more spectacular Autumn images from my contacts!
