M.E./CFS Awareness : May 2009
M.E./CFS Awareness : May 2009.
This is in fact a repost of a photo I took a few weeks ago while travelling on the Ffestiniog Railway en route to an appointment in Porthmadog. The train had just pulled into Minffordd station and I stuck my head out of the window to sample a serendipitous moment. No clouds in the sky, the air was warm, and scented blossom from the trees was gently floating down like snow. As I wrote in my previous M.E. Awareness post, I don't really like "portraying" my illness. This photo - like many on my Flickr account - reminds me of the good times when I'm able to get out and about. It's especially good to be able to look back and relive these special experiences (escapades!) during a not-so-good patch of health - like the last 7 days, during which I've been sleep-pattern-reversed and groggy, spent a lot of time dozing in bed and haven't made it further than the back garden.
