Dad's vines survived the late freeze in Oklahoma this year, but the chances of harvesting any merlot grapes will be slim.

That is great. It is amazing how much damage the late breeze did here in Arkansas. There will be no acorns, no hickory nuts, no pecans, no peaches, and all of my grapes will just grow vines this year. All of the Arkansas vineyards have lost a whole years worth of grapes. Last year I think was the best year for muscadine that I can remember. But this year I doubt that there will be any found.
