An Early March Day Dripping with Spring by FreeWine.
What a blessing it was today to have 70 degree temps and calm winds. At the end of our work day, Dianne and I stole away to Dripping Springs Lake so I could enjoy some sunset paddling.

Thanks, Gary! It was a great day to be on the water.

After a frustrating day of work, we threw the kayaks in the truck and dashed away to the nearest lake. I only got about two hours to paddle, while Dianne fixed dinner. It was pretty disappointed to see so few signs of Spring color.

Then something surprising happened as the sun began to set. It seemed like I was seeing an amazing new sunset every five minutes for about an hour. Once it started getting too dark to see the drowning trees, I headed back...awestruck by the impact the sunset had made on me. The frustrations of corporate IT were gone.
