These are four of the five kittens that we're fostering so they can become sociable and healthy enough for adopting. This picture was taken just after I bottle fed them and put them back into their temporary home (my shower - easier for cleaning!). This was taken a few days ago, back when they were getting old enough to try to play, but still confused on how to do it right. But here we are a few days later and they're already bigger, bite harder, and are playing with each other and even cleaning themselves.
Because they move so much and so fast, it's hard to get a non-flash photo of them. And flash photos never do justice to anyone or any thing (mostly).
Any animals we foster are usually abandoned or from people who want to give away to shelters (for whatever reason), but are too young. It can be very hard emotionally, since some are sick and don't live, or some just die for reasons I can't figure out. But it's still nice to help out. Spay and neuter your pets!
