Inspired by the works of Ruedione, Keegan Gibbs and Will Robson Scott, I took a night out with a local graffiti crew in Trondheim during the spring of 2011. A new approach for me; more of a photo journalist being a fly on the wall, letting the writers do what they do best, I took my step dad's old Pentax ME Super out and shot these images on Ilford Delta 3200 b&w-film. It was an interesting task seeking to document the writers' actions trough their own eyes, yet keeping their anonymity intact. I aimed at getting a rough and lo-fi look, symbolizing the often spontaneous and do-it-yourself spirit which characterizes the art of graffiti. The beauty, in my opinion, lies in it's imperfections.
Definitely something I´ll do again.
