Sea defences

These are sea defences placed on the beach at Garryvoe in County Cork to prevent coastal erosion. The stones here have been wedged into the gaps in the timber by the force of incoming tides.

Street musician

This man was among a group of musicians playing on the street near The Prado Museum in Madrid. They were terrific musicians, but I got the idea that they were not exactly wild about photographers for some reason! Still I did manage to sneak a couple of shots!
