This beautiful young lady was posing for another photographer when I spotted her. I thought it was a pity not to get a couple of shots too, and I'm glad I did!

Unfortunately I could not get any nearer to these wonderful doors to get a better angle, but even allowing for that, hopefully, their beauty is still obvious!

The Chrysler Building is an icon and is probably one of the most beautiful and most photographed buildings in the world. Because it is not open to the public comparatively few people, other than those working or doing business there, venture inside. I did so, just to see what I could see (as one does!), and found that the lobby is very beautiful indeed. This is a picture of one of the light fittings in the lobby area.

Bryant Park in Manhattan was full of office workers having their lunch time break when I visited it shortly after mid-day. There, in the middle of them all, this gentleman was having a quiet snooze with his huge collection of bags around him. He may well have been working harder than any of them all morning collecting whatever it was that he had in the bags, and no doubt he deserved his momentary rest.
