U of AThe dorm I lived in Freshman year was actually underneath the south seats of the football stadium, as part of the structure. Apparently this has now been turned into an atheletic dorm. A dorm I lived in one summer A dorm I lived in for two years The now apparently somewhat shrunken parking lot where I used to park the car. A parking garage where I had the hubcaps on one side of my Camero stolen. Why didn't they take the other side? No idea. Yes, I drove a Camero once. Bright red, too, if you have to ask. The Student Union, which was completely rebuilt a few years ago; all of the places I used to eat are gone, which, when I think about it, is probably a blessing. Good cheese sandwiches, though. The Franklin Building, former home of the East Asian Studies department (aka what I got my degree in). There used to be a Domino's here that had incredibly cheap take-out (not delivery) specials on cheese pizzas. Pretty good pizza here, too This parking garage (mostly off the edge of the map) was a great place to watch lightening storms. Also had a good view of the mountains for the 4th of July fireworks. I never lived here, bu this dorm had no airconditioning when I went to school. It had a sister dorm that also had no A/C, but apparently that's been torn down. There was a strip of grass here that we used to play football on. It was dubbed "The Beach" because the girls from the neighboring dorms would come out and use it to sun themselves--in February. It apparently no longer exists. Main library. Probably didn't spend as much time here as I should have. The Center for Creative Photography, which has the Ansel Adams archive. The Harvill Building, famous for barely having windows. The planetarium. Believe it or not, I never saw the Pink Floyd Laser show here. There used to be a small nuclear reactor in this building, but since the department of Nuclear Engineering is apparently no more, it's quite possible that they took it out.
