back at it (year 2, day 197, 11.9.09)
New York, NY.
Went back to work today on a week-long reading of a new musical called "Touched" - it was fun seeing a couple of people who I had worked with four and five years ago on other shows - and it was nice to hear a new musical. After hearing the same songs over and over again for the past three years, a change of pace is a welcome change. I guess I'm back at it!
I took this while walking to the train on 42nd Street after rehearsal.

sunny sunday (year 2, day 196)
New York, NY.
It was so gorgeous out today! I walked down to the store and I didn't even need a sweater. I forced myself to stay in today and not run a single errand. Instead I did laundry, read the script for the reading I start tomorrow, and knit, knit, knit, knit! I did obsess a bit over some paint chips, but I did not get on the subway once today, and that was nice! I really needed a day free of go, go, go.
Tomorrow I start a week long reading of a new musical with some of the creative team of a show I worked on about five years ago in New York. Its my first non-Spamalot day of work in over three years!

harlem stoops (11.8.09)
New York, NY.
As I went to put my laundry in the dryer this afternoon, the sun looked so beautiful on everyone's front steps that I had to run and get my camera.

I can't get enough of the rooftop of my building. So, so cool.

progress
The back of my Estes Vest - about one third of the way finished, I think. I love the color of this yarn - I think the finished product is going to be so pretty (its Lamb's Pride Bulky in Aubergine).
