I love the internet, tonight I have learned a new form of embroidery :D I am making a new dress for my FruPu, who has finally been put back together, and is demanding some treats.

To answer the question of the origins, chicken scratch is a Swiss embroidery technique that got huuuuuuuuuuge success in the US during the 20th century. This is why the translation of "chicken scratch" into French is "Broderie Suisse". Beautiful work !
